Bombies were everywhere, as plentiful as seashells at the beach and sold the same way conch shells are in Florida.

They knew about the bombies as well as the fun of soccer that they played almost every day. The American cluster bombs dropped during the Vietnam War were scattered over the Laotian countryside by the millions.
