High school student Vivian Chau, like most Asian-American youngsters, loves a drink called boba, a sweet milk tea with jellied tapioca balls. They are taking the advice of marketing experts who follow the latest trends in consumer lifestyles and who closely monitor public concerns about nutrition, health and food safety.
