Chikoo

Regarding seasons of other fruits in Bombay it is seen that oranges, mosambis and chikoos are available almost throughout the year, the peak period of chikoos being December and January.

The chikoo grafts which were prepared here were of "Kalipatti Variety". This variety was of very good quality and one of the best in the country.
