Chlorophyl

Chlorophyl is showing up by the barrelful in beauty lotions, tooth pastes, soaps, chewing gum, mouthwashes, antihalitosis tablets, tobacco and dog food.

Chlorophyl pigments from the guts are extracted in 4 to 10 ml of either 90% acetone or 100% methanol at 4°C in the darkness.

Pure chlorophyl in large doses has no effect on the speed of hemoglobin regeneration after hemorrhage. It seems that large doses are toxic to the bone marrow.
