Clams

Sea otters love to eat clams while swimming on their backs.

Clams, mussels and oysters have shells.

Decreases in carbonate ions can make building and maintaining shells and other calcium carbonate structures difficult for calcifying organisms such as oysters, clams, sea urchins, shallow water corals, deep sea corals, and calcareous plankton.

I've never eaten clams.

Are crabs and clams considered fish?

Nothing in nature is immortal, but some clams can live centuries and a tiny freshwater creature called a hydra lives a very long time, at least until its pond dries up.
