Crawlfish

Crayfish, crawlfish, crawdads, or crabs, as they are locally and variously known, are all more or less cylindrical, and the body and appendages are strongly sclerotized.

I usually leave spelling mistakes and typos alone. But I just love your crawlfish. They do crawl! We grew up calling them crawdads or crawdaddies. But not crawldads. The French word is ecrevisse. I imagine that's where crayfish and crawfish come from. Or crawled from.
