It seems that at least 51% of voters support the notion that controlling who crosses a border into a freedom-of-movement zone (that is, into a federation or a supranational union) is, much like controlling who gets onto an airliner, directionally correct even though it presents the challenge of how to prevent abuses such as police brutality.
