Fiberglas

Made of fiberglas, the 100 to 150 pound saucers are guided simply by shifting body weight in the desired direction; they seem to slide downhill on air.

A rather unusual application of fiberglas. This huge structure was built by Mahaffey Greenhouse, Apopka, Florida, for foliage.

The fiberglas we used was a roll of 50 ' X 4 ' "clear" fiberglas, which actually is sort of frosty and diffuses the light, so I only have to shade in spring and fall.
