Flees

Many a person who flees temptation secretly hopes that it will catch up to him.

What we seek we shall find; what we flee from flees from us.

But meanwhile it flees: time flees irretrievably, while we wander around, prisoners of our love of detail.

The bat flees the light.

Darkness flees at sunrise.

Flees are a problem, and roaches are a problem, but spiders are alright.

The frightened boy flees so he will not be caught.

Philosophy searches for the truth, but the truth flees philosophy.

The jackal always flees.

Shamed be he who flees!
