In the future, artificial means of reproduction will become possible. Perhaps we will inject the genetic material from one of each partner's sperm into either a synthetic human cell or a gonadal cell with its own nuclear DNA removed beforehand, and grow the resulting emmbryo to term in an artificial uterus.
