Leatherize

Treatment by the x-ray does leatherize the tissues, producing a great deal of sclerotic tissue, and in that way is favorable.

I had read of some remedies that were injected into the gland to leatherize the tissue and check the over-active circulation of the gland, so I tried injecting sesquichloride of iron in a few cases.
