Magnesia

Magnesia is used in medicine.

Serpentine is a greenish rock, a silicate of magnesia, in which there is sometimes from 30 to 40 per cent of magnesia.

The apocrenates of iron and manganese are slightly soluble; those of lime, magnesia and alumina are insoluble.
