Every year on November 20th, the transgender community observes Transgender Day of Remembrance to memorialize members of the community who have been murdered over the last year.

A Texas-based startup is giving consumers a unique way to memorialize their loved ones, by turning their cremated ashes into diamonds. Human ashes and even those from pets provide the starting material for diamonds that are grown in a lab.
