Motorbikers must wear helmets, but Sikh motorbikers may wear their traditional turban; school students must wear uniforms, but Muslim schoolgirls may wear their headscarf, as long as it is in the uniform colors.

The catastrophic injury ratio of male-to-female motorbikers is 8.5, probably reflecting a higher proportion of male motorbike riders in the Ontario population (Table 18.2).
