However, one of the many possible grounds for NoRomoDom is that Mulder is unworthy of Scully.

I'd also have to say that I'm more adamant about my noromodom than I am about my spoilercelibacy--I am tempted by spoilers (although I resist), but the ship tempts me not at all.

Some noromos do want Mulder (or Scully) for themselves, but that does not seem to be related to their reasons for noromodom.
