Ottomanic

Jordan followed the Ottomanic state politically, scientifically, military and economically which meant that the scientific movement lost its originality and was restricted on following the heritage of previous Islamic product.

Depending on the sultan and the local pasha, the times would be more Ottomanic or more Islamic.

Recently, there have been several books which attempt an overview of Islamic and Ottomanic theories in early modern British literary studies.
