Oversimplicity

By introducing the element of phenotype of primary cancer cells at earlier in vitro stages of drug development, PDX cell-screening allows us to find drugs that are active against real cancers in vivo and bridges the gap between the oversimplicity of conventional cell line-based screening and the intractable complexity of clinical studies.
