Rhododendron

I looked round me. I was on what seemed to be a little lawn in a garden, surrounded by rhododendron bushes, and I noticed that their mauve and purple blossoms were dropping in a shower under the beating of the hail-stones.

There's a profusion of rhododendron in her garden, blooming in a variety of colours.

There at our neighbour Barb's, cutting rhododendron flowers, is Linda. Linda was born in a barn in the province of Alberta. She now lives with the Chans in a Spanish mansion. She says that her father was half-Cree. I say, "You're part-Native? I can see it in you! You're a real Canadian! You should be proud!"
