The lake trout‐Lwhich need no populations of two salmonoids, lake trout and landlocked salmon.

One of his planned angling adventures is a float trip of nearly 100 miles down a wild stretch of the Zhang River in quest of various little-known trout and a salmonoid called the taimen, which can reach well over 100 pounds and live for more than a century.
