Stings

The seawater stings my cut.

Right, I said, shivering at this recital as a man would who gets hysterical while taking a shower if a bit of soap stings his eye.

The tongue stings.

Bee stings can be very painful.

I got some shampoo in my eyes and it stings.

Most jellyfish stings aren't deadly, but many are pretty painful nonetheless.

Honey is sweet, but the bee stings.
