Straightway

Matthew, hastily summoned from the harvest field, was straightway dispatched for the doctor.

Such thoughts revolving in her fiery mind, / straightway the Goddess to AEolia passed, / the storm-clouds' birthplace, big with blustering wind.

Those who continually prefer to stir up waters find that they create only a whirlpool and are carried around in circles rather than progressing straightway.
