Thylacine

The thylacine is an extinct animal.

Tasmania was once home to the iconic thylacine.

Just a couple of months after the death of the last thylacine, the animal was declared a protected species.

The thylacine is known colloquially as the "Tasmanian tiger."

In Tasmania, memories of the thylacine haven't faded.

Can the thylacine be resurrected?
