Foreign accent syndrome is an as-yet unexplained medical condition where the patient can no longer pronounce his mother tongue correctly and seems to have a foreign accent.

During centuries of space exploration, there were strange, unexplained anomalies that were linked to possible nonhuman sentient life.

Some speculate that unknown and mysterious forces account for the unexplained disappearances within the Bermuda Triangle, such as extraterrestrials capturing humans for study; the influence of the lost continent of Atlantis; vortices that suck objects into other dimensions; and other whimsical ideas.
