Vaporise

Vaporise the solvent from the liquid. What's left is the perfume component and a lump of vegetable wax.

Overheating of the secondary winding had vaporised the circulating oil in the transformer tank and the vapour had passed into the conservator tank, which was not adequately vented to the atmosphere; increasing internal pressure then lifted the tank cover, allowing vapour to escape.
