Wished-for

There in glad haste I trace the wished-for town, / and call the walls "Pergamea", and cheer / my comrades, glorying in the name well-known, / the castled keep to raise, and guard the loved hearth-stone.

Here were these two persons, at that time without prospect for the future, now standing before her, so near their wished-for happiness, and an involuntary sigh escaped out of her heart.
