Maybe it isn't a gaffe......I know, I'm strectching, but buying Prime Rib is not anti-vegetarianistic, (I bet you can't find that word in Webster's) and everyone knows there really isn't any meat in a chicken pot pie. (sorry Staufers)

If you are talking about protein, which is often the topic when it comes to vegetarianistic diets.. A one pound steak contains four ounces of protein, less than three of which is usable. You can get better ratios without meat.
